The day we went to the zoo…

On Saturday 17th May coaches collected 174 rainbows and their leaders from all corners of the county and took them to Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury in Kent.

It was a beautiful day and we all had a wonderful time exploring the park and watching the animals. The childrens play area was a sea of red at lunch time as the girls burned off some energy.

The elephants were a definite favourite for lots of people, and by request one lucky rainbow made her promise with the county commissioner infront of an extremely large elephant.

At the end of the day, lots of tired rainbows boarded the coaches home with a badge and a goody bag of treats from the zoo shop.
Lets do it again next year!!!!!!
